Terms of sale and use

Last updated: 2026-10-22.

Who we are

These terms apply to your use of this website and to the software Bella Commander. You enter into the contract with the seller:

Bella Tola Engineering GmbH, TODO street and number, TODO postcode and town, Switzerland

Orders and payment

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's buyer terms apply to your payment.

Licence

Bella Commander is licensed to you, not sold. After purchase you receive a licence key, which you activate once online. You may move the licence to a new computer. You may not share, resell or publish your licence key.

Free trial

You can try Bella Commander free of charge for 30 days. After that you need a licence to keep using it.

Bella Presenter

Bella Presenter is free and open source. It is licensed under the terms in its public repository, not under these terms.

Acceptable use

You may not use our software or website for unlawful purposes, for fraud or spam, to infringe the rights of others, or to interfere with security, for example by distributing malware, probing systems or scraping the website.

Intellectual property

We keep all rights in our software, website, names and logos, except the rights we expressly grant you in a licence.

Availability and liability

We do not guarantee that the software or website works without interruption or errors. To the extent the law allows, we are liable only for intent and gross negligence. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your licence if you materially breach these terms, if a payment fails or is reversed, or if we see a risk of fraud or to security. When a licence ends, you must stop using the software.

Indemnity

If your breach of these terms leads to a claim against us by a third party, you compensate us for the resulting loss, to the extent the law allows.

Assignment and force majeure

We may transfer our rights and duties under these terms to a successor of our business. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, war, strikes or failures of public networks.

Governing law and disputes

Swiss law applies, excluding its conflict of laws rules and the UN Sales Convention. Disputes are subject to the courts at the seat of the seller, unless mandatory law gives you another place. We try to settle disputes by talking first.
