We take the protection of your data seriously and handle it in line with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, the GDPR. This notice explains what happens when you visit this website. We do not run accounts, forms or advertising on it.

Hosting and server logs

The website is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. as a content delivery network. When you open a page, the server processes technical data that your browser sends: IP address, date and time, requested address, browser and device type. This is needed to deliver the site securely and may take place outside Switzerland, including in the USA. Cloudflare acts as our processor under data protection agreements.

Visitor statistics

We measure visits with Tianji, a self-hosted analytics tool run by us. It records page views, referrer, browser, operating system, device type, language and approximate country. It sets no cookies and does not follow you across other websites. We use the data to see which pages are read and to improve the site.

Purchases

Payments for Bella Commander are handled by Paddle.com, the Merchant of Record. Paddle collects and processes your payment and order data as an independent controller under its own privacy notice. We receive your name, email address, country and order details to deliver your licence key and give support, and keep them as long as the licence and legal retention duties require.

Storage in your browser

The site stores your choices for theme, animations and language in the local storage of your browser. They never leave your device and you can delete them in your browser settings.
